Private Motor Vehicle Insurance
Finding the right car insurance shouldn’t mean spending hours comparing policies, worrying about hidden exclusions, or paying more than you should. We make it simple by sourcing car insurance options and delivering expert advice.
Find the Right Cover for your needs
There are three primary types of cover available for private vehicles, each offering a different level of protection.
1. Comprehensive Car Insurance
Cover that insurers damage to your own vehicle, including accidental damage, weather, fire and theft. This will also cover you for damage to other people's property.
2. Third Party Property Damage (TPPD)
Third Party Property Damage insurance covers damage that your car does to other's vehicles and property, but not any damage to your own car.
3. Third Party Fire & Theft (TPFT)
Third Party Fire and Theft insurance coverage will insure you in the event you damage other's property, but also fire and theft to your own car.
Ask one of our insurance brokers about additional extras like hire vehicle cover to ensure your needs are met. After something else? If you have a commercial vehicle or truck, find out what your options are for cover.
After a CTP? we can help with that too
If you need a Compulsory Third Party (CTP), we can help you. As a QBE agent, we can provide you with quotes and renew your green slip when the time comes.

Car insurance FAQs
What if my car is a total loss?
A total loss or a write-off is when the damage done to your vehicle results in an unsafe condition or it is assessed as uneconomical to repair.
For a Comprehensive insurance policy, this means you will be paid the agreed value or the market value, depending on which cover you have chosen. This payment will be minus any outstanding premiums and on-road costs.
