- How are insurance brokers remunerated?
Any fees charged will be disclosed and clearly documented, there are no hidden costs. When it comes time to pay your invoice you will see a broker fee that we will receive for our services. As from 9th July 2025 we are required to obtain your informed consent before we arrange cover on certain classes of insurance when we receive commission from the insurer.
- What should I do if my circumstances change?
If your circumstances change, you can email or call your assigned broker directly or contact our office.
- How do I lodge a claim?
If you are one of our clients and need to lodge a claim, you can call our office (02) 6771 3422 and be directed through to the appropriate claims manager, or send an email to insurance@petercameron.com.au with the information, and we will contact you in a timely manner.
- How can I pay my invoice?
If you have received an invoice from us, there are few options:
- You can pay by clicking “Pay Invoice Online” on our website.
- Pay via BPAY using the details at the bottom of the first page of your invoice.
- Call or visit our office to pay directly.
- Or drop into your nearest post office using the details on your invoice.
- What is a Financial Services Guide?
A Financial Services Guide or a FSG sets out the services that we can offer. Under the Corporations Act, AFS licensees and authorised representatives that provide financial services are required to provide a FSG to retail clients.
It is designed to assist you in deciding whether to use our services and also contains useful information about:
- What financial services we can offer.
- How we are paid.
- Any conflicts of interest.
- Internal and external dispute resolution.
- And arrangements to compensate clients for losses.
